From 2017 to 2028 congestion? That is only to be expected, because the municipality of Amsterdam has today almost unanimously for the gigantic project vote.
There has always been squabbling over a billions costing project of the Zuidas business district of Amsterdam a more attractive area. That there is now a chronically clogged A10 right through the business district and runs, does not really contribute to the quality of life. Part of the ten-year and two-billion-dollar project ‘Was’ is the underground construction of the A10 South.
Today voted 43 of the 45 members of the Amsterdam city council for the megaverbouwing of the Zuidas. You can all those workers after the completion of the North-south line, of course, not just back home send. Amsterdam will be 250 million euro in the project stitches, the other 1.75 billion should be paid by the State taxpayer. A few controls there and you can almost even play so. Incidentally, were many companies at the Zuidas are established recently to know nothing to see in the plans, but the municipality is so nothing.
It probably costs a lot years pure considerable traffic congestion, but eventually we’re going there for the back: 2 x 6 lanes, each direction, four ongoing, and two for local traffic. In total, there is approximately 70 kilometers of asphalt between the nodes of the New Lake and river Amstel. The tunnel itself will be about a km long and 10 to 15 metres below the ground level. The sight of the Zuidas-yuppies in the future, then also saves. The construction would largely take place should be able to find without the traffic there on the current A10 South is bothered by, is that a claim in the category of ‘seeing is believing’.
Officially the Second Room, the plans still approve. Since verkeersminister Melanie Schultz van Haegen already a rather positive opinion about this project, seems to be the support of the government, however, is as good as certain.
