Mazda MX-5 (ND) comes with a 1.5’to Europe

The success of Mazda gets a sequel.

Our fotoknaap has just the car where lovers have months to look forward to on image. Mazda shows him at the Mondial de l’automobile in the same red color as on his debut. What we already know is that the fourth generation MX-5 is 100 kg lighter than its predecessor. Also, the length decreased (10.5 cm), but the width was something (1cm).

Where uncertainty exists is the motorenpalet. At the launch were the Japanese the ‘direct-injection SKYACTIV-G engines’, now it has become clear that the model for the U.S., a 2.0-liter four-cylinder, and the rest of the world has to do with a 1.5-liter variant. Please note, however, the capabilities are not yet known. “All available drivetrains have been specially tuned for the all-new MX-5,” said Mazda, so the 1.5 in the MX-5 anyway more power than the 1.5 block from the Mazda 3, which must be satisfied with 100 hp.
