We were actually not, but we can now actually confirm: the Ferrari 458 Special A looks pretty good.
You could probably already seeing from the picture, but we have here to do with the cabrio version of the Ferrari 458 Special. The ‘A’ stands for Aperta, or open. So you get the best of two worlds: brute power (the 458 Special A delivers 605 hp) and the wind through your hair flies.
Sergio Marchionne has apparently not yet had time to get the production numbers in Maranello to increase, because Ferrari will make 499 Special A’s produce. He is initially only available with the unique triple-layer yellow livery with a Blu Nart and Bianco Avus central stripe, but if you have enough euro’s with you is also a different color scheme for sure.
In terms of specifications, the Special A is almost the same as the dense Special (4.5-liter V8, 605 hp and 540 Nm), although the cabriolet version a small 50 kilograms heavier. The sprint from 0-100 km/h do you still, always in three seconds, so about speed you have, despite the slight weight gain, not to complain.
