BMW Alpina
Don’t be fooled by the plates, this BMW E28 for sale in California. Big question is, are we happy that he is out of the country, or had it never left us? There is -except the striping is still a good argument for that first…

Don’t be fooled by all the Alpina-frills, this E28 is not an Alpina B9 or B7 Turbo, but ‘just’ a 525i. Of course, such a 2.5-litre six-in-line (M30B25) is a nice block, but with 147 hp, he is significantly less endowed than the respectively 245 or 300 hp from the Alpina’s. Such a sleeper as the E28 M5 is, as a sheep in wolfskleren is this ‘Alpina ‘ Tribute’

The conversion is pretty convincing, on the engine after this E28 on almost all fronts. A spoilertje on the trunk lid would be the quantity still to finish, like a just off-centre hanging dual exhaust. And then those blue-green striping… It was available on the B9, although you come across, especially on dark cars. Do to me but silver.

You don’t have too much sense of sidecodes to the plate to see that this car is not original Hollander. The car came in 2009 our country is in, six years later, again to leave. In California it is now a new home for the Fugazi-Alpina-fetched, as discovered BaT. What that should cost? For $ 12,000 ex. transportation costs, you can remove him from Corona, USA, back to our own little country. Or you must want to, of course, is question two.
