Volkswagen stuffs Ducati-block brute XL Sport Concept

Take the Volkswagen XL1 and the V-twin engine from the Ducati 1199 Superleggera and you get a particularly brutal combo: the Volkswagen XL Sport.
Volkswagen AG already played longer with the idea to the powerful Ducati-twin cylinder in the XL1 to hang out, but kept it up to date with what design sketches and renderings. In Paris revealed the still the details of his brutal concept car, which is equipped with the Ducati Superleggera V2.
This V2 of the Italians is according to VW, the most powerful two-cylinder in the world and provides 200 horsepower, enough to run the car at warp speed to 270 kilometers per hour, to burst. The XL Sport weighs just 890 kilograms, while the block of 11,000 revolutions per minute. The sprint to 100 takes by the way, something longer than a real supercar’re used to, but will be no longer than five seconds. Still quite rapidly so.
VW has not only subcutaneous an absolute beast created, because the XL Sport looks at the aerodynamic area is very nice and has a chassis that is made according to techniques of the sport. Or that means that we have the concept soon on the circuit to go back to see? We can only hope, because this combo of Ducati and VW deserves to have a nice the traces to get.
