Nelson Piquet Jr. first champion in Formula E

It was until the latest round exciting who is the first Formula E title would require, but ultimately drew Nelson Piquet Jr. at the longest end in London’s Battersea Park.

We have our regular critical comments about the Formula E, but if we are really honest, then we have the last few months best interesting races passing by. The locations are top notch, the circuits are challenging and the car’s equivalent, so it was up to the riders to see who the fastest in the electric racing cars.

Prior to the last race in London made next to Piquet also Sebastien Buemi and Lucas di Grassi win the title. The trio was in the final race, however, do not mix in the fight for the podium, so it was soon that the battle to be decided with a difference of only a few dots.

Buemi finished as the best of the three (P5), but came a point short of the 16th started, the Piquet of the throne. The Brazilian came namely handsome as the seventh across the line and did this exact enough for its first championship since 2004 (British Formula 3) to secure.

“Jesus, I know not what I have to say”, was the comment of Piquet after the fall of the flag. “If you see where I started am, then this is an incredible result. I am so hard driven as I could, but I had no idea if it was enough, until I made the team celebration saw the celebration.”
