Migrants drown in Turkey

ANKARA –

At least ten migrants drowned because the ship on which they were sitting off the coast of Turkey sank.

According to Turkish media Saturday knew the Turkish coast guard 43 to save people from the sea at Ayvacik in the west of Turkey.

The refugees were on their way to Greece. The accident was near the island of Lesbos. It is not clear how many migrants on board the ship were. Among the dead are five children.
