Sin: the Jensen Interceptor that is never going to come

In 2011 it became clear that Jensen was busy with a resurrection. This modern interpretation of the Interceptor had should be the result, but so far as came the unfortunately never. Now, there -by another party – again working on a new Interceptor.

We write 20 september 2011 if we are a couple of sketches to show the modern interpretation of the Jensen Interceptor. The project was developed by the company CCP, which Vladimir Antonov (from the Spyker-soap) to be a shareholder. Owner of the brand, however, was the Swiss company Healey Sports Cars, named after that other famous British sportwagenmerk.

Like so many reincarnations of old car brands, comes this attempt to get the Jensen Interceptor life, never of the ground. More than the two sketches give the company in its short existence is never free, but we have with the British patent office just called these images have been found. They make a nice aggressive sports car look, that is a clear stylistic elements of the original Interceptor.

Currently been a other party engaged Jensen to resuscitate. They have, however, the brand name bought, but not this design and start again from scratch. Although, their interpretation of the Interceptor resembles an original Interceptor, but with Jaguar F-type taillights. I prefer this copy seen.
