Benzinebommen on house Greek minister

ATHENS –

Unknowns have Saturday an assault committed at the house of a close associate of the Greek prime minister Alexis Tsipras. They threw just after midnight about ten benzinebommen into the house in Athens of state attorney general Alekos Flabouraris.

A car of the security caught fire and another vehicle got damaged. The house did not fly in the fire. Or hit the facade damaged. The minister was at home and was unharmed. The ruling party Syriza of Tsipras condemned the attack. The party stated that the attack the democracy will not undermine.

Since 2010 when the first austerity measures were introduced, the number of attacks on politicians have increased.
