Psychiatrists do not rijbewijskeuringen at low rate

If your driving licence you will be afnomen, then you get the in some cases only after a specialist examination by a psychiatrist. Since this year are the fees to do this, however, considerably reduced, allowing some psychiatrists now vertikken inspections to perform.

The CBR points per year, about 8,000 people for this inspection, reported the NOS. Often it is alcohol – or drug-related matters. How many psychiatrists exactly decline is not known, but the news speaks of ‘a large number’. Last year, they got 243,80 euro per inspection, now provides a standaardkeuring of a quarter of an hour 78,05 euros. Quite a difference indeed.

Let’s hope that there is soon a solution for this impasse. It is, after all, is in everyone’s interests that people with a past history of drink/drugs and drive as fast as possible out on the road again. Maybe the CBR a little extra pressure on the mental health professionals?

The research then but by psychologists to run is not a good idea, in the past, the CBR here previously bruised.
