Morris Minor achtergelaten in spoorwegtunnel
In a former railway tunnel in Liverpool let a qualified mechanic for an unknown reason a lot of classic stuff behind.

The tunnel where the cars were found in 1896 opened. But not for long, in 1901, took a train to the ‘Dingle station’ flame. There were therefore six people to life. The tunnel was damaged and had to be repaired, therefore, was this for a closed. After the re-opening reason there a while trains and survived the tunnel, even the bombing of 1941. Still, it was the railway tunnel in 1956 due to high costs of operation. A touwfabriek bought the thing but gave it quickly returned to a qualified mechanic.

Under the ground, there was plenty of room for many cars at the same time to repair, but to the railway tunnel as a garage to make it suitable, there had to be a car-jack. After the workshop until 1977, the service member was ultimately sold to a different garage. That company had the tunnel up to march of 2012, after which the partly collapsed. After investigation, it was revealed that the company different cars hid in the tunnel.

Why the cars in the tunnel left behind is not known. Probably this is partly for stolen cars but also cars of former clients. There were, among others, an old Land Rover, a Rover P5 3.5, a Citroën HY van, Fiat 124 and 130 Coupe, Ford Anglia, AMC Pacer, Morris Minor and a Lotus Elite found. Piece by piece special copies that for decades no longer had ridden. (via jalopnik.com, fotocredit dancinimera)
