Everyone in the automotive industry in the past 5 years not a stone was knows of Qoros. The new, ambitious Chinese brand kicked off with the 3 Sedan, and adds a second model line: the 3 Hatch.

Now I can hear you think: “but that is not the Estate, which last week we saw’. Right, inquired of Qoros shows that this model (despite its German) ‘not yet ready’. The Hatch is this, and will have his debut live at the Geneva motor Show, a.s. march.

Under the skin we find many similarities with the Sedan. So find the same 1.6-litre engines (atmospheric or turbo) and manual 6-speed, or automatic transmission with double clutch make their way to the Hatch. This model has the same wheelbase, width and height as the Sedan. The achteroverhang and the total length 177 mm decreased.

Are Sedanbroer scored well in the Euro NCAP test, and was even given the title of ‘Safest Car of 2013’. Vanzelkfsprekend is the same result for the hatch intended. Qoros says it on a new, more lifestyle-oriented customer group to target, and this includes a wide range of free services with 3G connectivity, as well as a large role for the cloud.
