Top Gear en Jeremy Clarkson jagen op een nieuwe Stig
Both car shows are to the steggelen about a new Stig.

The Stig concept is already 14 years old. The cultpersonage came when Jeremy Clarkson and Andy Wilman driver searched for lap times to blows in the new Top Gear formula, but struggled to find someone that is for a camera standing knew. A mute driver was the answer, and Stig – named after the name that newbies were given at the school of Jezza – was born.

The rights of exploitation of the most commercial product to the auto show, however, are at BBC World Wide, so the driver moves to the new cash money show of Clarkson, May and Hammond on Amazon Prime, which from autumn 2016 will be streamed live. Still, they want someone who a little bit can send. Producer Wilman thereon against the Mirror:

“The three lads can drive properly and fast and will do so. But we do need a new character.”

According to Wilman is out of the question that they ex-stig’s Ben Collins or Perry McCarthy will incorporate, but according to the rumor mill, they have a few other big names on the eye. Among others, Mark Webber (38) and former F1 champion Jenson Button (35) to be called. Funny, because the latter would, according to the Britmedia also been on the BBC’s Top Gear with Evans on the list (since he is a full-time F1 driver, you can count on the fact that he neither motor shows strengthen, the media pls).

Meanwhile, it should be Chris Evans take aim at the always goedgemutste Sabine Schmitz (46) as the new real Stig, as well as Williams testcoureur Susie Wolff. And Wolff would be on the nominatielijstje of Clarkson and the gang. Either; there is a Stig-battle going on in autoshowland. And we have a dark brown suspicion that Amazon with the best loonaanbod forward…
