Germans hours in line for cheap gas

Benzine voor een prikkie
A special action at a Berlin gas station with the fuel prices to the levels of 1989 were reversed missed its effect last night.

Yesterday, Germany was under the spell of the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall. The concrete colossus that is the DDR in 1961 had started to build was on the evening of november 9, 1989 and torn down, after a party official accidentally the free movement of persons had declared.

This happened around 18:57 and exactly at this time, there was a local gas station, backed by an insurer, for a night back the clock. The result was €0,57 for a litertje ongelood and €0,47 for a litre of diesel, say exactly the opposite of what this Esso ever did.

You can imagine that here a lot of people came down: on his longest was the queue of cars hundreds of meters long. Rather everyone knows: the chance for a few tens your tank is completely full throw left many Germans not at their nose passing.

You would think that such a long queue is a recipe for tension and strife, but as yet we have here no posts found. A small residency video impression can be found here.
