To use the Formula 1 a little bit exciting, ” wrote the FIA’s tender for new teams to attract. The registration term has expired; the final score: one extra team compared to the current season.

Now the subscription period is closed, it is obvious which teams next year at the start. That are:

  • Scuderia Ferrari
  • Sahara Force India F1 Team
  • Haas F1 Team
  • Lotus F1 Team
  • McLaren Honda
  • Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team
  • Infiniti Red Bull Racing
  • Sauber F1 Team
  • Scuderia Toro Rosso
  • Williams Martini Racing
  • Manor Wagered F1 Team
  • Haas F1

New is Haas F1, an American team founded by Gene Haas, a big man in the CNC machines. Since april 2014, they are working on an entrance in Formula 1 and the Grand Prix of Australia on april 3, 2016 is the baptism of fire. Haas F1 seems to be the only team that has, as yet, no driver has managed to bind all of them seem to be in any case to hunt on Nico Hulkenberg of Force India. Who knows we next year a Belgian in F1, since McLaren only Alonso have confirmed for next year.

Not only must a number of teams have a second driver to confirm -as is the still not sure a hundred percent sure that Sainz again next year the team-mate of Max Verstappen at Toro Rosso – also, there are still a number of teams that are not final motorcontract have for 2016. Force India, Lotus and Williams drive this year with Mercedes power units, but these are for next year not sure. Sauber runs this year with a Ferrari engine and also they have not yet confirmed that this coming season again. Haas F1 is going, however, Ferrari engines.

Originally it was not intended to have new teams to add to the starting grid. With the collapse of Caterham at the end of last year, saw the FIA, however, some space in the pit box. Officially was the tender for both the season of 2016 and 2017, but it seems that the FIA still sympathetic to the possible accession of, for example, Renault or Audi as factory teams.
