Official: Rolls-Royce confirms development of SUV

After (very) much speculation in the media is the high word in Rolls-Royce by now: the company confirms in an open letter that the long-awaited SUV is going to build.

The letter – drafted in no less than 12 languages, including Khmer (apparently Cambodia is booming for the British) – rept, incidentally, with not a word about the term ‘SUV’, there is the brand understated, but still want the luxemaker the following details about his new car:

• A car that offers the luxury of a Rolls-Royce in a vehicle that can cross any terrain

• A car that meets our customers’ highly mobile, contemporary lifestyle expectations

• A Rolls-Royce that is as much about the pioneering, adventurous spirit of Charles Rolls as it is about Sir Henry Royce’s dedication to engineering and innovation

• A car that appropriately reflects Rolls-Royce’s brand promise of effortless luxury

• A high-bodied car, with an all-new aluminium architecture

• A unique new motor car worthy of carrying the Spirit of Ecstasy into the future

You don’t have to raketgeleerde to here your conclusions. A launch date is not mentioned, but we recommend some patience to carry out. At the annunciation was a number of very old photos from Rolls’ rallyhistorie. Enjoy.
