Razer started accepting orders for the ultrabook Blade Stealth

Razer started accepting orders for a new version of its gaming ultrabook— Blade Stealth. The model is characterized by fineness and lightness and the possibility to use an external graphics card. Recall, the announcement of the laptop took place at CES 2016, which was held from 6 to 9 January in Las Vegas.

Special table Doc called Razer Core 3 is connected via Thunderbolt and allows you to use the full power of desktop-class graphics cards with PCI-Express x16 slot, a maximum size of 310 x 152 x 44 and power consumption 375 watts. Doc also offers Gigabit Ethernet and four USB 3.0 ports for connecting standard peripherals. The dimensions of the dock are 339,9 x 218,4 x 104,9 mm.

The laptop itself features a touch 12.5-inch IGZO display with a resolution of QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) or UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels) and a custom keyboard with multicolor backlight. The hardware base is the Intel Core i7-6500U, 8 GB of RAM LPDDR3, SSD 128, 256 or 512 GB. From there Thunderbolt ports 3 (USB-C), a pair of USB 3.0 and HDMI 1.4 b. Dimensions are 321 x 206 x 13.1 mm and weighs 1.25 kg.

The most affordable configuration costs $1000 and involves a display with a resolution of QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) and the drive 128 GB, but it is not yet available for ordering. You can order version for $1200 with a resolution of QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) and the drive is 256 GB for $1400 will improve the resolution up to UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels), and for $1600 available modification with a resolution of UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels) and storage at 512 GB. Deliveries are scheduled to begin on January 29. Razer Core dock will be sold separately, it will be available in the first half of the year, the price has not been announced yet.
