After Mercedes takes Audi a sales record

We let the Dutch verkoopmalaise here for what it is and switch over to the international stage, where the Germans sell more than ever.

March was the Mercedes a very nice success, with sales of 13 percent. Audi are going to get there in terms of percentage, something over and delivered last month to 15.4 percent more cars than the year before. 170.450 pieces, to be exact. The most growth was in China listed (+36,6%), followed by Germany (+10,2%) and the United Kingdom (+12,7%).

The total number of sold Audi’s in the entire first quarter of 412.850 cars, which they have the 400k mark for the first pass and Mercedes (374.276 cars sold) be prevented. The largest verkoopboost was provided by the A3 family, sales increased in march, with 52.5% to 28.750-selling models. The Q7 (+39%) and the A8 (+49%) were also not bad.

It is now waiting on the figures from BMW to see who’s ahead in the premium verkoopoorlog. They will later this week with results to come.
