BMW comes with a 9 Series

One works in Munich currently is the new flagship of the Bavarian car manufacturer because the 7 Series is simply not luxurious enough to do battle with the most luxurious models of the other premium brands.

After the confirmation of the X7, there is once again high-end news of BMW. On the car show of Beijing is going to BMW to us with a concept to show the design direction for the model is to illustrate. The 9 Series will sit above the 7 Series and the focus will be on luxury. A first idea of how the car will look like might start to see is found in the BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe Concept from last year, which also was suggested as a preview of a possible 8 Series. Since it is an odd number of terms, however, it will very likely be a luxury sedan and not a coupe, so guess there is a couple of doors.

If the reactions in Beijing are well will BMW continue with development of the top model, which reportedly will be based on the new lightweight platform, which is also the future Rolls Royce Phantom built on it will be. Incidentally, the concept in Beijing, the new direction for all of the interieurdesigns of BMW show and there will, of course, what new techniques and gadgets in the concept that eventually their way will find to production models of BMW.
