Go Abbring ensure English success in the WRC?

Do it here: out of nothing can be called up for the world CHAMPIONSHIP-rally of Sweden and in the snow as the eleventh finish. Respect, Kevin Abbring!

Dutch success in the World Rally Championship are a rarity, so it was even more special that Abbring this weekend made his debut for the factory team from Hyundai. The 26-year-old compatriot fell in for Dani Sordo and grabbed this unexpected opportunity with both hands. The test driver of the team, reed has not been a match in the Hyundai i20 WRC ran the car never in the snow, but there was little to notice.

Abbring had already intimated that he prefers, within five years world champion. And why would that not work? It is not for nothing that a brand like Hyundai to him (after Volkswagen and Peugeot) picks up and right away for the lions throws. Besides the advantage that the WRC teams tend to be more cautious about using talents than the colleagues in the Formula 1, and young riders are also more opportunities to develop themselves.

For now, nothing else than enjoying the end of the eleventh place in Sweden, because there is Abbring more than satisfied: “This was an incredible experience, it is a privilege to the trials of the rally of Sweden driving. I have huge self-confidence gained, despite the lack of rhythm, so I’m pretty satisfied. I can’t wait again to get in the car and the next WRC-event to drive.”
