At CES 2016, which runs from 6 to 9 January in Las Vegas, Nikon has introduced not only its flagship full-frame D5, but also a new SLR camera lower class — D500 DX format. The model is equipped with is 20.9-megapixel CMOS sensor size 23.5 x 15.7 mm and 153-point AF system of new generation, Expeed 5, the same as the D5. The sensitivity extended to 1 640 000 units ISO, and the standard range is from 100 to 51 200 units of ISO.
Camera capable of continuous shooting at 10 frames per second and videos in ultracheap 4K UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels) at up to 30 frames per second and in Full HD resolution (1080p) — 60 frames per second. Nikon D500 is equipped with a 3.2-inch touch screen that can be tilted and supports USB 3.0.
The camera supports wireless interfaces Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth. One of the features of the camera was to support a new proprietary technology SnapBridge, also presented at CES 2016. It allows you to maintain a persistent connection with mobile devices via Bluetooth Low-Energy to transfer content automatically in real-time.
U.S. sales will begin in March at an estimated price of $2000 without the kit lens and $3069,95 for the kit with lens 16-80mm f/3.5-5.6 VR.
