But the video filmed in Brazil has quite acceptable quality and it shows that the mysterious object is hovering in the air and smoothly changing its shape. Experts have already confirmed the authenticity of this video, but could not say what exactly the eyewitnesses were able to film. There are several assumptions, but many people do not want to believe them – they believe that something really inexplicable happened.

An unidentified flying object was spotted in the sky over the Brazilian city of Curitiba. It is the economic hub of southern Brazil and is home to over 1.7 million people.

Many publications, such as The Mirror, have reported on the mysterious flying machine. The object hovering in the sky was filmed on video using a smartphone on July 7, but the user posted it on YouTube only on July 25. Despite the mobile filming, the mysterious “flying saucer” is clearly visible in the video.

The flying object has a diamond shape and even seems to change color. It also seems that the edges of the aircraft are moving in a wave-like motion. But many who have seen the video are sure that all this is just interference that arose due to the camera being out of focus.
However, no one can still explain what it is. Many versions have been announced on the Reddit website:
Bloody creepy. I don't think it's a balloon or a drone. If you look closely, it looks like it's moving, like it has little legs on the sides,” one user wrote.
Another Reddit user noted that when the camera focuses on the object, it just looks like something oblong, without any “chassis” or other technical elements.

What do weather balloons look like in the sky?
Some people suggested that a resident of Brazil captured the flight of a weather balloon. Usually, when big news about UFOs appears, it turns out that people have seen disposable devices that are launched into the sky by private companies to study the earth's atmosphere. For example, this happened in 2023, when an unidentified flying object was shot down over the United States. There is a high probability that another weather balloon was captured in the frame, but at the time of writing this article on August 2, 2024, this has not been confirmed by any group of meteorologists.

This is not the first time that UFOs have been spotted over Brazil. On the night of May 19, 1986, over twenty unidentified objects were spotted flying at speeds of between 250 and 1,500 kilometers per hour over Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. Since some UFOs exceeded the speed of sound, scientists and the military were seriously puzzled.

It seemed that they were playing hide and seek with the military – the military never managed to get close to any of these objects.
