Rosatom donated its first 3D printer to the University of Tomsk

As part of cooperation at the Atomexpo forum, Rosatom donated the first serial printer for 3D printing to Tomsk Polytechnic University. A public additive technology center will be created at the university. This will allow the introduction of additive technologies into the production processes of enterprises and organizations of the Siberian Federal District. Rosatom's cooperation with TPU involves the development of educational programs for the training of engineering personnel, scientific- research work and development work. Rosatom became the first large Russian company to begin the development and production of domestic equipment for 3D printing.

Over recent years, a complete production chain has been created within the structure of the state corporation, including the manufacture of printers, software development and the production of metal powders. Rosatom is actively introducing additive technologies into its business processes and developing a regional network of additive technology centers.
