Scientists get closer to communicating with pigs

They developed a special algorithmScientists reported that for the first time they converted the grunting of a pig into emotions. So they got a little closer to understanding these animals. Discuss =”Scientists get closer to talking to pigs” Scientists get closer to talking to pigs />

Researchers trained an artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm on 7,414 recordings of pig grunts. These records were collected at all life stages of 411 pigs, including before slaughter. This algorithm could potentially be used in an application for pig breeders to tell if an animal is happy simply by the sound it makes. At the same time, the algorithm can also be used to better understand the emotions of other mammals.

Scientists said that the program can decipher whether the pig is experiencing positive emotions (“happy” or “excited”), negative (“scared” or “stressful”) or something in between.
