“Durov's Code” writes about this. Until now, links could only be made in the nickname format – t.me/nickname. However, the phone format of the link will only be available to another user in two cases:
- if the phone number is in your contacts;
- if it is set to “Who can see my phone number: Everyone ” in the settings section “Privacy and security” > “Phone number”.
It is also reported that Telegram has already created public phone numbers for the messenger's support service. For Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, this is t.me/+42470.
