So far, hope for this is not worth it. There is such a thing as collective intelligence or collective intelligence. It is attributed, for example, to animals and even microbes. However, can we observe intelligence on a much larger scale – perhaps on the scale of the entire planet? Scientists have tried to answer this question.Discuss
The researchers noted that the open question is whether intelligence can operate on a planetary scale, and if so, what happens in this sense to the Earth.
Scientists have noted that the evolution of planetary intelligence may represent the acquisition and application of collective knowledge operating in a complex system of diverse species in a harmonious manner that benefits the entire biosphere.
By this definition, the Earth has not yet reached herd immunity. Researchers believe that while our planet is in the third stage of evolution: the “immature technosphere”. At this stage, technological activity has already developed on the planet, but it is not yet firmly integrated with other systems, such as the environment.
