The fact is that dietary fats are easily exposed to adverse changes under the action of sunlight. Transparent protective films of indium tin oxide (ITO) can help to solve this problem. They block ultraviolet and infrared radiation, as well as electromagnetic fields.
Scientists have already conducted experiments with fresh linseed oil. They showed that when using films, one of the indicators indicating oxidative damage did not change at all. At the same time, the container with oil was exposed to many hours of hard ultraviolet radiation.
The researchers noted that such a container is not yet manufactured anywhere in the world. They hope that they will be able to enter the market.
