Gary Bowser was a member of the Team-Xecuter group, which provided hardware and software solutions for people to install and play unofficial and pirated copies of games on the Nintendo Switch.
After Upon sentencing him, Bowser agreed to pay Nintendo $4.5 million in damages. This is in addition to a previous civil lawsuit in which the man was ordered to pay $10 million.
Team Xecuter's activities are said to have caused Nintendo between $65 million and $150 million in losses.
