Apple Leads Second Month in a row For the second consecutive month, iPhone becomes the best-selling smartphone in China. According to a study by Counterpoint Research, Apple's share was 23.6%. alt = “Chinese have switched from domestic smartphones to iPhone” Chinese have switched from domestic smartphones to iPhone />
Researchers believe that Apple's rise to first place in China in sales is due to the popularity of the iPhone 13 series. The monthly increase in iPhone sales in China from October to November was 15.5%. The ongoing troubles of the Chinese smartphone maker Huawei also played into Apple's hands. Analysts, however, think Apple's sales in the country will begin to decline in December or January as Chinese users stop updating their older iOS phones.
It is worth noting that before Apple, the local manufacturer Vivo (23%) was in the lead in China. It was followed by another Chinese brand, Oppo (20%). Honor, Xiaomi followed, and then only Apple.
