One of the users accused Google Maps of sending people on poor forest road with risk of fatal accidents due to terrain and severe snowstorm. While there have been no reported accidents in the area, the error is still a matter of concern.

Another user added that the Android version of Google Maps sometimes builds routes on closed roads.

Recently, Google Maps has also been accused of building deadly routes for tourists. The roads indicated on the Maps pass through steep, rocky and impassable terrain and can be dangerous even in good visibility.
