I’m sure many of you have heard about the project Hoversurf, which is a flying motorcycle. However, as it turned out, exists in the world development and more interesting: a full-fledged motorcycle-transformer, which can soar above the earth’s surface, and to move in the normal way on the wheels. And use such a hybrid vehicle is very non-standard way for the flight, and it is called La Moto Volante.
La Moto Volante in translation just means “flying motorcycle”, and for his development of the French engineer and inventor Louis Infirmary. This is not the first creation of the author. Previous development of LM-847 was also a hoverbayk, but without the possibility of movement on wheels. Largely a new invention borrowed parts from the previous project.
On Board La Moto Volante carries the engine from Maserati power of 470 horsepower. Each wheel (a total of 4) sealed with the common design of a separate lever. It had to be done to ensure that the wheel can be deployed in a horizontal plane and positioned parallel to the ground. Further the most interesting begins. In contrast to the already existing Hoversurf using propellers, La Moto Volante has a small jet turbine, activating that driver (or in this case, it can be called a pilot?) can easily float in the air. In “flight” condition La Moto Volante is structurally similar to the quadrocopters with four lopostyami, except that in this case they are replaced by turbines, giving more power.
The project was developed jointly with the German company Jetcat, and at the moment it is not clear, do sample at least in some form into production. Official full presentation of the device will be held on 31 January 2019, and until then you can enjoy a short teaser is available below.
