Online application store Google Play has experienced one of the largest attacks in history. Security experts found the shop 13 fake games that bring when installed on a mobile device malicious code. The total number of installations of these games exceeded 560 thousand.
The application was presented as racing simulators of all kinds, at the moment they have been removed from Google Play. According to experts, the game was a cover for malicious code that was loaded in the background. They were all from the same source — the developer O Luiz Pinto.
A Google spokesperson has confirmed that these apps have been removed from the online application store.
