Half-Life celebrates its 20th anniversary

Today, 19 November 2018, marking exactly 20 years since the release of the cult game Half-Life. Sci-Fi first-person shooter was developed by Valve Software and published by Sierra Studios in the PC version 19, 1998.

The game’s plot develops without the use of cutscenes, which for the time was truly innovative approach. The story is on behalf of the main character Gordon Freeman, PhD in theoretical physics. The game runs on a modified Quake engine from id Software.

The game has brought glory to the Valve, over 50 gaming publications have acknowledged Half-Life “Game of the year”, PC Gamer magazine three times awarded her the title of “the best game ever created”. It remains your favorite players to this day. The sequel to the game Half-Life 2 was released in 2004, and the emergence of Half-Life 3 many continue to hope even now.
