The police of the United Arab Emirates intends to use a flying motorcycle developed in Russia. This was reported in the official account of Dubai police on Twitter.
The first Russian company Hoversurf shown at the Dubai GITEX prototype “of” in the past year. This year the company presented a modified version which is able to produce take-off and landing, as well as to move through the air with little speed.
Dubai police has already begun to train staff on a test sample of a flying motorcycle. The plan is the formation of two teams to patrol on hoverbike, they will be able to get to hard to reach places. The project launch is scheduled for 2020.
Estimated price of this flying motorcycle is 150 thousand dollars. They will be able to reach the speed of 96 km/h and fly at a height of 5 meters above the surface.
