On 7 November 2002, Microsoft released a special version of Windows XP for tablet PCs. We need, however, to imagine that at the time the tablets were different. Very different! Heavy, thick, noisy fans and very poor battery life—, the gadget could barely work out from the battery three to four hours, and the main tool to operate the screen was a stylus.
A year before presentation, Microsoft published the concept of a Microsoft Tablet PC, a set of requirements for hardware devices that might be called a tablet and where you can use Windows XP Tablet PC Edition. In fact, the main requirement was the touch screen — without specifying specific technologies, and control with a stylus.
Computer manufacturers are different approaches to the idea of a tablet. Some released a few tablets without a keyboard, others have relied on laptops-hybrids (with detachable keyboard) and laptops-transformers (the unfolding and folding screen).

The main new feature in Windows XP Tablet PC Edition was the on-screen keyboard and handwriting — very far from ideal, however. The user ought to inform the tablet, he right-handed or left-handed, and then… change your handwriting, so that the system better recognize. To meet the human computer refused!
With Windows XP Tablet PC Edition was delivered a few bonus apps: Notepad for handwritten notes, virtual “stickers”; a casual game that at the same time gave the user the skills with a pen.

Three years later, all features of Windows XP Tablet PC Edition became part of the “normal” Windows XP.
November 7, 2001, in the Internet appeared the first level domain .biz. As you might guess, it is intended for commercial companies and the meaning does not differ from the zone .com. Last by that time was crowded along with .net and .org, which also was available to everyone, almost without limits.
New blast zone has attracted mild interest companies. For 7 years users have registered two million domains .biz, however, unlikely to find a really popular website in this domain.
Before starting the domain zone Registrar three months collected bids from large companies who owned the trademarks, allowing them to “stake out” any domain name, even without using them.
