A couple of days ago, Apple has raised the prices of its vehicles in Russia. The increase was highly significant up to 43 thousand rubles for premium monoblock iMac Pro.
Tonight during a conference call with investors on financial results of the next quarter, Apple CEO Tim Cook (Tim Cook) explained this price increase.
In key emerging markets, Apple showed a slowdown in growth. Tim cook noted that Apple is experiencing “pressure” in regions such as Turkey, India, Brazil and Russia. He said: “This is markets with a weakened currency in recent times. In some cases we have had to raise prices and these markets do not grow as we would like”.
