In 2020 we will be closed the last factory on manufacture of computers in Europe

Japanese company Fujitsu announced the decision to close a computer factory in Augsburg, Bavaria in 2020. This is the last European plant involved in the production of computers.

The plant produces desktops, laptops and storage systems, and servers on x86 processors under the brand Fujitsu Primergy.

At the moment the factory is under 21 thousand devices daily. With the closure of the factory will lose their jobs directly, 1500 employees of the plant and about 300 people throughout Germany. Their fate is now being discussed with the management of the company, in any case, they will receive compensation.
