Details were shared with Bloomberg, citing “knowledgeable” sources. Samsung Electronics will launch next year the first 5G smartphone cheaper flagship model and a foldable smartphone.
Now the Korean manufacturer is negotiating with the U.S. operator Verizon about the launch of the Galaxy S10 with support for 5G in the United States. Also Galaxy S10 will get built-in under-screen fingerprint scanner. Line Galaxy S10 will be available in three versions, including a more affordable model.
The standard model Galaxy S10, codenamed Beyond is equipped with a curved on two sides OLED display with rounded corners and almost no frame on the top and bottom. The diagonal will remain at the level of 5.8 inches, like the Galaxy S9. The smartphone uses a triple rear camera, and front camera will be hidden under the display.
