Americans are taught micro-drones open doors and to enter premises

Researchers from Stanford University together with the Federal Polytechnic school of Lausanne have developed a micro-drones, capable of performing simple mechanical tasks, like opening doors and lifting weights in excess of 40 times their own weight.

The main technologies that use micro-drones is a solid point of support at the expense of special materials to improve the adhesion and the system of winches. As a result, gold drone can lift up to four pounds. Two micro-drones will be able to open the door.

In their design, the researchers were inspired by nature. As the “prototype” used small flying insects as the nearest equivalent micro drones. Scientists watched them and tried to understand how, for example, OSA can increase a victim, much heavier than itself.
