Motorola releases kits for repairing smart phone at home

Motorola, now owned by Chinese Lenovo, in partnership with the famous iFixit team presented a set of self-repair smartphones.

With this set, the user will be able to replace the broken screen or old battery, without resorting to using informal or authorized service centers. 70-80% of requests for maintenance related to the replacement of the display or the battery, so Motorola and iFixit have covered the most common cases of damage.

Currently kits are available for replacing screen and battery of the latest smartphones. The list of supported smartphones includes: Moto X, Moto X Pure and Moto G4, and G4 Plus, Moto Z-Moto Z Play and Z Force Droid, Moto G5 Plus, and Droid Turbo 2. Kit prices range from 39.99 to 199.99, ending dollar.
