Fujifilm never release a full frame mirrorless camera. This was stated in an interview with journalists resource, DPReview is one of the top managers of the company at the exhibition Photokina in September.
The journalist said that all the major manufacturers of photographic equipment have already reached the market with full frame buttercake and asked whether Fujifilm to enter this segment. The response from Fujifilm was categorical: “No, never”.
He explained such a position that the company does not see any sense to enter this market, especially with a good presence in the segments of the APS-C and medium format cameras. Exit to full-frame segment will only lead to “cannibalization”, pulling demand from their own products.
