Company Xiaomi announced plans to release a mid-level smartphone, which will be based on the new processor Snapdragon from Qualcomm 675.
This statement was made Manu Kumar Jane (Manu Kumar Jain), international Vice President of Xiaomi, at the summit Qualcomm 4G/5G Summit in Hong Kong. Xiaomi was the first company announcing such plans, and can manage to produce the world’s first smartphone with this processor.
Qualcomm introduced the Snapdragon 675, literally, today. It will be the successor debuted in August 2018 chip Snapdragon 670. The processor created on the basis of 11-nanometer manufacturing process. He received a total of eight cores — pair high-performance Cortex A76 with a clock frequency of 2 GHz and six energy-efficient Cortex A55 with a frequency of 1.78 GHz. It is equipped with Adreno graphics 61X with support for OpenGL ES 3.2, Open CL 2.0, DirectX 12 and Vulkan.
