Google will no longer match the Android smartphones full range of their applications

Google said in his blog about changes in the licensing terms Android for EU countries. Changes have been made in connection with the fine of 4.3 billion euros, which was imposed on Google by the European Commission in July 2018.

The new rules provide that manufacturers will now be able to produce smartphones without Android or non-branded Google apps for EU countries not to lose the right to work with Android.

The licensing package will include the Google Play Store, Gmail, Google Maps and YouTube, as well as separate licenses for search Google Search and the Chrome browser. This will release smartphones with Google Play, but without installed Google Search and Chrome. However, the luxury to release a smartphone with a Google search and Chrome will have to pay separately.

For the Eurozone will be issued a separate license agreement, the Android platform will remain free and open source.
