Operator MegaFon has awarded a web service Speedtest from Ookla, specializing in the analysis of the performance of the Internet access.
In the first half in Russia MegaFon was the fastest mobile Internet. Statistics were derived after more than 7.9 million measurements of speed, which were produced on mobile devices the Russians through the app SpeedTest. Just participated in the testing of 1.45 million unique devices.
MegaFon has provided an average download speed 24.68 Mbps and upload data to the network — of 10.57 Mbps. the Average score of MegaFon Speedtest made 21,79. In second place is MTS with an average score of 13.85 on the third — from 12.56 Tele2 and Beeline on the fourth from 10.51.
In Moscow the download speed and download MegaFon is even higher — 41,93 MB/s and of 14.46 Mbps. This is almost twice the results of MTS in second place with 21.5 and 7.3 Mbps respectively.
