Intel launched the Core processors, the 9th generation

Intel has introduced a 9-th generation Core processors aimed at enthusiasts and gamers. Ninth generation Coffee Lake Refresh, and the eighth built on the basis of 14-nm manufacturing process, but promises greater opportunities for dispersal (through the use of solder under the lid). And in the new processors hardware way protected from the vulnerabilities Spectre and Meltdown. The number of crystals present model Core i9-9900K, which Intel calls “the best gaming processor in the world.” Stone offers 8 cores and 16 threads with a base frequency of 3.6 GHz and can automatically accelerate to 5 GHz.

In addition to the new Intel Core i9, Intel introduced new models of Pentium, Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 ninth generation: model i7-9700K will offer 8 cores and 8 threads, operates at a frequency of 3.6 GHz (4.9 GHz in boost mode); i5-9600K equipped with six cores and six threads running at a base frequency of 3.7 GHz. In boost mode, the frequency of the stone rises to 4.6 GHz.

As noted above, despite the new generation, represented by crystals built on the basis of 14-nm process technology, which is used since the processors 5th generation Broadwell presented in 2014. The new chips using 14-nm process technology++ presented by Intel’s 8th generation chip Coffee Lake. Therefore, the company delays the release of 10-nm processors Cannon Lake until 2019.

Pre-orders for new processors, the 9th generation, the company will start taking today. The first deliveries are scheduled to begin on October 19. By the way, prices on the new processes were more democratic than the new announced model line of Core X, which we will discuss below. So, Core i9-9900K is estimated by the company at $ 488, the model i7-9700K – 373 of the dollar, while the i5-9600K will cost 262 dollars. All processors will support DDR4 memory 2666 MHz, 40 lines PCI-E and AVX2 technology.

Of course, the company is not left aside, and a special caste of their customers prefer the most expensive and most productive iron. Intel unveiled an update of a ruler of processors Core series X, adding to her family with new models, including one Extreme series. All built on a 14 nm process technology++. All received the support of four-mode memory DDR4 2666, and 68 of lines PCI Express.

The new processor includes the flagship Core i9-9980XE (18 cores/36 threads) with a base frequency of 3 GHz, while using a ohms to 4.5 GHz and not at affordable price in 1979 dollars; Core i9-9960X (16 cores/32 threads) in 1684 the dollar; Core i9-9940X (14 cores /28 threads, 3.3 GHz/4.5 GHz) 1 $ 387; Core i9-9920X (12 cores /24 threads, 3.5 GHz/4.5 GHz) for 1189 dollars; Core i9-9900X (10 cores /threads, 3.5 GHz/4.5 GHz) for 989$; i9 20Core-9820X (3.3 GHz/4.5 GHz, 10 cores/20 threads) over 898 of the dollar and Core i7-9800X (3.8 GHz/4.5 GHz, 8 cores/16 threads) for 589 dollars.

Professional users who need even more performance, also not left behind. For them Intel has in store a new 28-and 56 nuclear-threaded Intel Xeon W-3175X with a base frequency of 3.1 GHz and a boost frequency of 4.3 GHz. This new product will be available for purchase in December. Unfortunately, Intel did not mention the price of this processor.
