As shown by the study of “Kaspersky Lab”, two-thirds (71%) owners of digital gadgets in Russia looking at the screen of the device, just to avoid contact with other people. And 66% pretending be busy doing something important on your smartphone, tablet or laptop, if you feel uncomfortable in any situation in society.
The fear of excessive socialization is manifested in the fact that people are more likely to solve a variety of everyday tasks with the help of mobile applications and web services. So, according to the same survey, a third of Russians prefer to receive certain services, for example, to order a taxi or food, learn how to get to certain places, and even interact with someone with the help of your gadget.
In addition, the mobile device remains “man’s best friend”, even when it is not required to solve any tasks. For example, the 50% Russian owners of digital gadgets every day use them to kill time. While 47% of respondents every day turn to their smartphones, tablets, and laptops as sources of entertainment.
30% of respondents are worried that you will not be able to entertain yourself without a digital device. 32% believe that they are much harder to book a taxi or arrange a lift. And 8% sincerely worried that you will not be able to make look busy, when they don’t want someone to talk to.
