Linux Creator Linus Torvalds (Linus Torvalds) announced that it has decided to suspend the development and to temporarily leave the project. He stressed that he does not feel “burned out” or unable to continue to support Linux, and not the contrary.

He plans to devote time to “at least try to correct their own behavior.” He said: “I need to change my behavior. I want to apologize to everyone for my actions were unacceptable and may have ceased to touch the kernel development”.
The last straw for Torvalds was the situation with the summit is dedicated to Linux, and the reaction to it of others. Torvalds has offered to hold a summit without him having previously been its permanent participant. But the organizers preferred to postpone the summit in Edinburgh. Torvalds is known for his lack of diplomacy, he often criticizes the developers and companies without prior softening or censorship. In the distant 2012, he publicly swore at NVIDIA, accompanied by the phrase “So NVIDIA **** you!” an appropriate gesture. Last year he called Intel patches “complete and absolute rubbish”, suggesting to withdraw the processors of the last two decades.
Note that this is not the first time Torvalds has temporarily departed from the development of the Linux kernel. In 2005, his vacation is over run Git, one of the most well-known version control systems at the moment.
