Analytical company IDC has published a report on the market of wearable electronics in the second quarter of 2018. The leader in sales turned out to be a smart watch from Apple. Everything in the world has sold nearly 5 million Apple Watch for the past three months.
More specifically, the delivery of the Apple Watch reached 4.7 million, representing 17% of all global sales. Growth for the year was thus considerable — 38.4%.
In second place is Chinese company Xiaomi, which sold for the quarter of 4.2 million wearable devices, compared to the previous year supply grew by 19.8%. In third place is Fitbit with 2.7 million, reduced for the year sales of 21.7%.
