The announcement of the new QWERTY BlackBerry smartphone

The Chinese company TCL Communication, which is now engaged in the BlackBerry smartphones, has announced a new smartphone BlackBerry KEY2 LE. This is a simplified and cheaper version of the BlackBerry smartphone KEY2 presented in June.

BlackBerry KEY2 LE made in the same form-factor smartphone with a hardware QWERTY keyboard. The rear panel has dual camera and a fingerprint scanner integrated into the spacebar.

The smartphone is equipped with a 4.5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1620 x 1080 pixels, primary camera 13+5 MP, front camera of 8 MP. The hardware is based on Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 636, 4 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of internal flash memory. The battery has a capacity of 3000 mAh with fast charging Quick Charge 3.0. The smartphone runs on Android operating system 8.1 Oreo.



Supports two SIM cards, 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 ac), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS+GLONASS, NFC and FM radio, has a USB Type-C and a 3.5 mm headphone Jack. Dimensions are 150,25 x 71,8 x 8,35 mm and a weight of 156 grams.

BlackBerry KEY2 LE will go on sale next month at a price of $ 399 for the 32 GB version and 449 for the 64GB.
