The opening of the exhibition IFA 2018, which will be held from 31 August to 5 September in Berlin, ASUS introduced an updated version of the premium ZenBook laptop’s (model number UX391FA).
Due to the transition to the new mobile Intel Core processors eighth-generation Whiskey Lake, the laptop got raised by 10% performance and battery life to 20 hours. Its predecessor, the stated battery life was up to 13.5 hours.
The thickness of the device is 12.9 mm and a weight of 1 kg. In this ZenBook’s enclosed in a metal enclosure. Swivel mount ErgoLift when opening the cover automatically raises the keyboard at an angle of 5.5° for easy typing, as well as additional cooling of the lower panel and sound enhancement audio devices.
The laptop is equipped with 13.3-inch touch display with a resolution of 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) or Full HD (1920 x 1080), Intel Core i7-8565U or i5-i5-8265U eighth generation, 8 or 16 GB of RAM, up to 1 TB of SSD storage.
The ZenBook’s got three USB Type-C, two of them with Thunderbolt support 3. There is also a 3.5 mm headphone Jack. Touchpad built-in fingerprint scanner. The keyboard has a backlight.
The timing of release and the approximate price is not yet announced.
